Simulator Assessment Preparation without the pressure

Only one word. Superb. I am 737 rated, with no Airbus experience and I can honestly say the training I received at AlphaTech and especially by Paul directly is the best I’ve had from any ATO in Europe that charged me double what AlphaTech did. I fully recommend AlphaTech and if you can get into a sim with Paul, you’ll not regret a moment.

I met up with Paul for preparation the day before my Easyjet assessment. Having only ever flown Embraer and Boeing it was very beneficial to see the characteristics of the Airbus. This made me more confident going into the simulator check. I had a very good sim check and I believe this contributed alot towards my offer of a position with Easyjet. Thanks Paul.

I have been lucky to have flown many types of aircraft over the last 8500hrs, I have been TRI TRE on the Q400 and the 737 as well as MCCI and SEP instructor, so I feel I am in a position to offer some authority on ATO quality. As far as training goes, AlphaTech offers something that no one else does; care and attention to individual pilots needs. I was extremely impressed with the instructional quality of Paul during my 2hr A320 Preparation, I felt he was perfectly tuned into my weaknesses and knew when to pause and offer help and tips on dealing with those. He was patient and offered advice that I hope to use in the years ahead. No time was spared in the sim, everything was proficient and professional. (Even the resets, which we know can be notoriously slow, where fast so no time was wasted waiting on the simulator). Thank you to Paul and AlphaTech for your help. I felt more prepared and ready for sim assessment than I ever have before from any of your ‘bigger’ counterparts in the UK and Ireland.

I got late notice of an airline assessment but Paul was very accommodating and was able to fit me in. He is clearly an excellent instructor and was able to get me through all the expected manoeuvres for the assessment profiles. His Airbus 'top tips' were really key to me performing well in the assessment. If you have an airline assessment coming up, a visit to AlphaTech is well worth the investment.

Beyond just the handling and aircraft knowledge, which was immense, the confidence and comfort Paul instilled in me for my Aer Lingus interview was invaluable. I cannot commend him highly enough for how he made me feel walking into that interview. Would recommend without a shadow of a doubt.

There's no time wasting for the preparation in the sim, every min was used learning, Paul has a great instructional way. It made the day of the actual sim test very easy

Alphatec is one of the very few flight training organisations I have attended over my career that genuinely prioritise helping students & tailoring their training to suit them as opposed to taking as much money as possible from them. The level and quality of instruction was on par or better than any I received in the big sim training centres at Dubai, London, Dallas or Montreal. On my airline assessment day at a major UK airline there were 4 candidates, the 3 who did a session at Alphatec passed the sim check & the one who didn’t go to Alphatec didn’t pass.
